A Breif History

I swore I would never start a blog.....but Ive ALWAYS loved snooping at everyone else's. Well I finally realized that a blog is one of the best ways to stay in touch so I will begin by playing catch-up.

My senior year of high school I started dating a super fly guy from Brigham City (JP Olsen) and been together ever since...sort of-there was alot of off and on.

We tied the not on December 22, 2006. Such a great day, weddings are the best.

We live in Orem working hard for the money and attending school. JP works at an aerospace company making waste and water tanks for the new Boeing 787 airplanes [very exciting-he loves it :)] and takes classes at UVU for...something great I'm sure but he hasnt picked a major yet. I sometimes work [since the baby I'm just "on call" for any busy days they may need me] at a credit union handling people's financial perils and take classes at BYU for broadcast journalism.

We got married super young but it has been the best thing to ever happen to us both-so fun! I recommend it :)

Nine days of marriage-New Years Eve 2006

Fourth of July fireworks 2007

We love BYU football, notice the happy faces-fall 2007

Mr and Mrs Zorro, we totally didn't even plan that-Halloween 2007

Bountiful Temple Sealing. Eternity is a LOOOONG time. Cant wait!!-Dec 2007

As a married couple we have many wild an
d crazy weekends-This is us playing cards on a Friday night-yeah I know we live on the wild side

Pretty darn huge and pregnant, 3 days away from giving birth-Fourth of July 2008

I wasn't due until July 24th but I could tell the bebe was ripe and ready. JP and I went on a Sunday walk and I could feel contractions-they didnt hurt though, they actually made me laugh-then at 11:30 PM that night my water broke. Its so much easier to labor at home because you can do what you want (walk around, shower, eat etc) whereas at the hospital they make you lay in the bed quite a bit, so we decided to stay home until I was in alot of pain. Not to mention women often contract for hours before actually giving birth so I was in no rush.

We walked to Smiths (a few blocks away) just to get things going faster because I wasnt feeling any pain. Well it worked! That was about 1:00 AM and we then headed to the hospital. My goal was to do the labor all natural. I wouldnt even let them put an IV in my arm. All I have to say about my natural birth is thank goodness it was only 3 hours...it is pretty darn painful. The funny thing though, is that I didnt even think about an epidural the whole time, It didnt cross my mind for some reason, which is a good thing or I may have given in and taken it.

So, after a short period of pushing Charlie arrived early monday (7-7-08) morning. Overall, labor and delivery was super fast and easy-of course that is not what I was saying immediately after. But I would do it natural again in a heartbeat!

Just minutes after birth, loving life outside the womb
